30 Day Blog Challenge: Day 11

11. Put your iPod on shuffle and write 10 songs that pop up.

So far the questions have assumed a) I have a tattoo or I want one and b) I have an iPod to put on shuffle. I used to have an iPod which I got for free when I bought a laptop but I rarely used it so I gave it to Stanley. So, rather than a list of 10 songs I'm going to list fewer than 10 random things that Blueberry has brought into my life lately.
  1. This set of 8 cheapo washcloths from Target. She pointed at them as we walked by  and I said "washcloths". Then I remembered that I need more bibs that tie on (Blueb has mastered removal of the velcro kind) and I wanted to make some out of washcloths, so I bought them. $3.49 for eight of them. Great deal. Thanks Blueb.
  2. She likes to pull random books off the shelves at the library and then run away as fast as she can, so once I catch her and look at the book, and if it looks at least mildly interesting I put it in the book bag. The first one, a couple of weeks ago, was Wednesday Night Witches by Lee Nichols, in which I lost interest after a couple of pages. It just wasn't resonating with me - the protagonist seemed weak, melodramatic and overly quirky. Unfortunately the book has been misplaced.
  3. The next book she picked, just today, was The Little Blue Dress by Bruno Maddox.  I have high hopes for this one, although the reviews suggest I will either love it or hate it. Maybe I'll let you know how it goes. It's a bit of a problem these days finding time to read but if I get myself to bed at a somewhat decent hour, I can afford to read for a few minutes each night.

8 washcloths + 2 books = 10 things! Nice job :-) I have that same pack of washcloths too. Blueberry and I clearly have excellent taste in home goods.

Oh my gosh - that is 10 things! Thanks for pointing that out. I feel more accomplished now. :)
